West Vancouver Yacht Club (WVYC) is celebrating its 80th birthday this year, and what a fantastic 80 years it has been! Our multi-generational, family-friendly community benefits from a welcoming Clubhouse, Yachting Centre, patios and decks overlooking Fisherman’s Cove; a yacht basin with hoists, a workshop and a boat elevator; four convenient and popular Outstations; a variety of social events; many sailing and racing opportunities including lessons for all ages; a boat sharing program and more. Members appreciate the Club’s relaxed atmosphere while enjoying a variety of food options from casual to fine dining.
WVYC’s mission is to foster our Member community through the generations by engaging with a spirit of camaraderie in the Club’s exceptional events and programming, and to steward our extraordinary oceanfront amenities. As WVYC Members, we value and appreciate lifelong learning through sharing our skills and experiences with one another, and we embrace a spirit of adventure to try new things.
