The Vancouver Wooden Boat Society, commonly known as the Sapperton Landing Traditional Boat Centre.
The purpose of the society is to promote, encourage, organize, educate and facilitate interest and activities related to the heritage art of wooden boat building in British Columbia including providing assistance and information through exhibits, displays, programs and seminars.
Our vision is to create a Heritage Boat Centre in New Westminster that will become a centre of excellence in the heritage art of wooden boat and canoe building and provide a home to heritage boat artisans.
