Welcome to the best club in Vancouver! Nestled in Stanley Park with stunning views of Coal Harbour, the Vancouver Rowing Club (VRC) offers more than just world-class sport—it’s a community.
Whether you’re drawn to the water, the field, or the social scene, there’s a place for you here. With active sections in Rowing, Rugby, Field Hockey, and Yachting, plus a vibrant Social Membership, VRC has something for everyone. Our members enjoy access to the gym and showers, the Carver Room member bar, and one of the most spectacular patios in the city.
Looking for friendly competition? Our sections host tournaments, regattas, and socials year-round—including the legendary Intersectional Regatta, where rowers coach athletes from each section in a battle for the coveted Intersectional Oar Trophy.
VRC membership dues have two parts:
Club Dues – Set by the Board of Directors and paid by all members. These cover access to the gym, showers, and the member bar.
Section Dues – Set by each sport’s executive and paid by members participating in Rowing, Rugby, Field Hockey, or Yachting. These support section programs, teams, and events.
All memberships renew annually on October 1st. By applying or renewing, members agree to the Club’s Constitution, Bylaws, and Rules & Regulations.
Just looking to enjoy the vibe? Our Social Membership is perfect for walkers, joggers, runners, or anyone who wants to take in the magic of Stanley Park from our clubhouse. Social members enjoy access to the gym and member bar (including patio dining!) but are not affiliated with a sport section or entitled to vote at Club meetings.
