Stuart Island Community Dock.  Box 5-6, Stuart Island that monitors VHF 66A.   Moorage, water, liquor, laundry, post office, store, ice, community kitchen, fishing guides, good cell phone coverage, free Wi-Fi.  No power, no fuel, Staff is on call 24 hours a day in season.

The docks were rebuilt and expanded to accommodate yachts to 100+ feet.  The store carries convenience items, liquor, locally made goods.  Store hours are 8:00 am to 5 pm seven days a week in season.  A large deck with a covered picnic area connects to the store.

A well-marked road and trial lead to Eagle Lake, where a skiff is kept.  It’s a good walk, through a beautiful forest.
