Welcome to Tofino, situated on the rugged west coast of Vancouver Island. The local not-for-profit Tofino Harbour Authority established in 1999 operates  year round to provide safe access to our local waters. Designated a core commercial fishing/small craft harbour by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO we are responsible for operations at 4th Street Harbour, Crab Dock and Wingen Lane) in Tofino, BC, Canada. The Tofino Harbour is located at the end of Fourth Street in Tofino on the West Coast of Vancouver Island about 80 km West of Port Alberni, B.C. The structure consists of 18 pontoon type floats with one float reserved for aircraft. A trestle approach gives access to the shore. The facility is protected by a pile breakwater to the west and a floating breakwater gives protection to the east.
